The 4 types of VoiceThread links

Modified on: Thu, Oct 10, 2019 at 1:51 PM

There are four different ways you can add VoiceThread to your course site - Course View, VT Home, Individual Link and a VoiceThread Assignment.

Course View

Displays the VoiceThreads that have been shared with your course (See, Fig. 1).

In addition to viewing all of the VoiceThread's that an instructor has shared with the course this view also shows the VoiceThreads that the students have shared with the course.

This is a good option when you want students to find and comment on each others work or if you want to allow students to review all course materials prior to an exam.

A potential title or name for this link in your course could be "Watch VoiceThreads Here."

VT Home

Displays all of a single user’s VoiceThread content (See, Fig. 2). This includes all of the VoiceThreads that they own or have been shared with them.

This is a good option to provide when you, or your students are creating VoiceThreads.

A potential title or name for this link in your course could be "Create VoiceThreads Here."

Individual VT

Creates a direct link to any VoiceThread that you have created (See, Fig. 3).

Assignment Builder

You may create an Assignment link that allows for easy grading with an integrated link to your course site's grade center (See, Fig. 4).

Assignment choices include requiring students to Create a Voicethread of their own to submit, to Comment on a VoiceThread you’ve created, or simply to Watch a VoiceThread start to finish.
